Information used by the games

The Awesome Quiz, Alphabet Sprint, and Number Button run entirely in your browser. We do not collect or receive your answers, scores, typing, button presses, or other gameplay activity. Game progress is not saved after you close or refresh the page.

Technical information

This website is hosted by Netlify and uses a domain registered through GoDaddy. When your browser requests the site, Netlify processes limited technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, the requested page, and the date and time of the request. The information comes directly from your browser and network connection. It is used to deliver the website, maintain security, prevent abuse, and diagnose technical problems.

Lawful basis and retention

Our lawful basis for the technical processing needed to operate this site is legitimate interests. Our legitimate interests are providing a secure and reliable website, protecting it from misuse, and diagnosing faults. We have considered visitors' privacy and use only the limited processing needed for those purposes. We do not use this information for advertising, profiling, or measuring individual gameplay.

We do not create or independently retain gameplay records or visitor logs. Netlify retains technical service information only for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, its legal obligations, and the operation and security of its services. Netlify determines the applicable period by considering the nature and sensitivity of the information, the risk of harm, whether the purpose can be achieved by other means, and applicable legal requirements. Sharing and international processing

Netlify processes technical information as our hosting provider under its data processing agreement. GoDaddy provides domain registration and DNS services; we do not provide it with quiz answers or gameplay information.

Netlify and its approved sub-processors may process technical information outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Netlify's data processing agreement uses the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where applicable. If that mechanism is unavailable, it provides for the UK International Data Transfer Addendum and contractual safeguards. You can read or obtain these safeguards in Netlify's data processing agreement.

Cookies and browser storage

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising, tracking tools, or persistent browser storage. The games reset when the page is refreshed or closed.

Children

The games may be used by children, so the same privacy-protective settings apply to everyone. We do not ask users to provide their age or identity, create profiles, use geolocation, show personalised advertising, or retain gameplay activity.

If you contact us

If you email us, we will use your email address and anything you include in your message only to respond and deal with your enquiry. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests. We will delete ordinary correspondence when it is no longer reasonably needed, normally within 12 months, unless it must be retained longer for a legal or security reason.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to ask for access to your personal information, correction or deletion of it, restriction of its use, or an objection to its use.
